Forced migration to Indeed account with permanent linking
Starting April 2026, Glassdoor users must migrate to Indeed accounts with no ability to disconnect them, and your Glassdoor profile data will be permanently synced across both platforms under their separate privacy policies.
Your demographic data may inadvertently reveal your identity
The policy acknowledges that despite anonymization efforts, the combination of demographic attributes you provide could allow someone to identify you or narrow your identity to a small group—especially at smaller companies or in specific departments.
Chat transcripts recorded by default with no opt-out
When you use the chat feature, Glassdoor and service providers may automatically record and keep transcripts of your conversations with no option to prevent this recording.
