Forced arbitration blocks class action lawsuits
If you have a dispute with Indeed, you waive your right to sue in court or join a class action—you must go through arbitration instead, which is typically faster but limits your legal options and makes it harder to challenge company-wide practices.
Your profile shared with employers even when set to "not searchable"
Indeed warns that even if you hide your profile from employers, search engines and third parties may have already copied it and made it public elsewhere—and Indeed has no control over or responsibility for this exposure.
Employer AI tools process your application without Indeed's oversight
When you apply to a job, employers can use artificial intelligence and machine learning to automatically analyze, sort, or reject your application—Indeed facilitates this but cannot control how employers use these tools or what decisions they make.
